Is Jon Stewart censoring his own show? Why can't even a joking reference to "legalization" of cocaine and prostitution be memorialized as part of Jon Stewart's now famous interview with CNBC's Jim Cramer? Who is insisting on the censorship? CNBC? Jim Cramer? Jon Stewart? Comedy Central?

I may be wrong on this, but my understanding was that the interview with Cramer was about 7 minutes too long to fit on the show, so it was edited down for the program. The full interview was made available online at Comedy Central. (and yes, that particular quote is on the full interview at Comedy Central - I just listened to it)
So, it's quite possible that the edit had nothing to do with censoring the reference and more to do with making a coherent edit for the show dealing with the subject of the interview.
